Los Angeles County DCFS, pursuant to a negotiated agreement with our office, has just announced the creation of a “dedicated email address” for use by caregivers of L.A. County’s foster children when encountering difficulties locating the child’s social security number. Trouble getting the number from the social worker? You are legally entitled to the number upon request, if DCFS knows the number.
